Hi,June here

Facebook Creator Studio

What is Facebook Creator Studio:

Imagine a place where you can have access to all your videos across all your Facebook pages and Instagram accounts. With Facebook Creator Studio, you’ll be able to manage your digital assets in a breeze! This platform allows you to have control over your content.

From monetizing your posts, to scheduling them, Facebook Creator Studio has you covered!

An Overview of the Facebook Section of Creator Studio:

You can do quite a number of things to make the most of your Creator Studio.

  • CREATE: Place your content on full display.

Creator Studio is designed to help you upload, compose, and post all your Facebook content.

If you’re quite fond of having frequent (or consecutive) postings, you can upload multiple videos at once. You even have the option to crosspost content to multiple pages that you manage! And since time is of the essence, you can even have the option to add your content to playlists and backdate, and even save your posts for later as drafts!

There are a few different ways you can upload, compose and post new Facebook content from the Home tab in Creator Studio.

  • HOME: Be in the know with the latest updates!

The Home tab is a feed of posts from your chosen pages. It also includes basic insights for your content, as well as a composer, where you can come up with content and publish it to any of the pages you manage.

Features

Depending on several different factors, what you have on your Home tab can vary.

Some of the most common features are the following:

  • Top Priorities – these are the tasks that require your immediate attention most of the time. They can be account issues, updates on your content, or a matter of communication.
  • Posts Timeline – this is considered as the general feed of your content.
  • Onboarding Cards – this can be any program or product that are sort of like freebies. You can only click on these onboarding cards once you’re eligible for the said process.
  • Post Details – these are your insights for chosen pages. This could also double up as a summary of your posts.
  • Manage your content
  • Get insights
  • Streamline engagement
  • Manage your monetization
  • Protect your content
  • Download free music and sounds
  • Manage your pages

In order to save your unfinished work, click “Save Draft” before publishing your content.

You still have the option to find and edit all of your saved Facebook posts in your content library under the Drafts tab.

Connecting Instagram To Creator Studio

With everything already going on in the real world, you should no longer have any trouble managing your Instagram account and your Facebook Page’s activity. They are your digital assets after all.

Here’s how you can connect your Instagram account to your Creator Studio desktop.

For starters

  • An Instagram account for your business is a definite must-have.
  • Confirm that you’ve selected the right Facebook Page that you want to link to Instagram.
  • To choose a different Facebook Page, click the dropdown menu in the top left of your sidebar. Choose the Facebook Page you want to connect to an Instagram account.
  • Connect your Instagram account to Creator Studio with your chosen Facebook Page

Managing Your Instagram content In Creator Studio:

  • Head to “Settings” from the sidebar on the left. Then, select “Instagram Connection.”
  • Click on “Connect Instagram”. This may open a new window.
  • Click “Connect Account”.
  • You will be asked to confirm if you want to allow access to Instagram messages in your Inbox. Click the toggle to change your settings (blue means to allow access, and gray means not to allow access). Then click “Continue”.
Note: You can change this setting at any time by clicking the toggle in the upper right corner of Creator Studio Inbox.
  • If you are already logged in to Instagram from your desktop, you may be prompted to continue with this account. If this isn’t the account you want to connect, click “Switch accounts”, then enter in your login information.
  • If your Two-Factor Authentication is turned on, you will be asked to enter in your security code. Then, click “Confirm”. Your window may refresh automatically to your Facebook Page Settings. You can disconnect your Instagram account here at any time.
  • You will be asked to provide your login information once more for security purposes. Then click Log in.

Once you connect an Instagram account to your Facebook Page, you can directly manage your Page’s activity across both Facebook and Instagram.

Once successful, you can now schedule posts, respond to messages and comments, create ads, and see insights across both Facebook and Instagram.

This can be a real efficiency hack as you can now manage your digital assets all in one place.

Connecting Your Instagram account to Creator Studio (Without a Facebook Page)

Here’s how you can manage your Instagram content that’s not connected to a Facebook Page and get insights from your desktop:

  • Head on to “Creator Studio”.
  • Click located  next to   at the top of your screen.
  • Follow the instructions to log into Creator Studio with your Instagram username and password.
  • If you’re having trouble connecting your Instagram account, and are asked to link your account to a Facebook Page, you might need to do one of two things:
  • Sign out of your Facebook user profile, and then log into Creator Studio using your Instagram username and password.
  • Go to Creator Studio from a private or Incognito browser, and then log into Creator Studio using your Instagram username and password.

Once you’ve successfully done all of the steps above, you will now have the option to manage your Instagram content via Creator Studio. This will be helpful in giving you insights into what sort of content works best for you and your brand!
